New exhibit at The First bank
Oil paintings by Cheryl Blaydon will be on display at Boothbay Harbor’s The First bank for the months of June and July.
Blaydon’s exhibit is a small representation of her many seascapes depicting the Maine coast blended with scenes from he travels. Blaydon's work may also be seen year-round at The Framer’s Gallery in Boothbay Harbor; Fore Street Gallery, Portland, and in seasonal shows at the Boothbay Region Art Foundation, of which she is a past president.
Blaydon, who lives in East Boothbay, is also author of two books, “The Memory Keepers” and “Island Odyssey.”

The First bank is located at 77 Oak Street in Boothbay Harbor and is open Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon.
