New Infusion Center opens at LincolnHealth

Patients who require infusions and other types of intravenous therapies can now receive them in a newly designed suite in the hospital on LincolnHealth’s Miles campus.
The Center opened in early April and is located on the second floor of the hospital. The Center features new chairs, plenty of natural sunlight, privacy curtains and other comforts.
“We’re excited about our new space and what it provides not only to our patients but to our team,’’ said Melissa Brown, RN, Clinical Supervisor of the infusion program. “Previously, we had to schedule infusions around day surgeries because of space limitations. Now, with our own patient area, we can schedule new and recurring appointment right away.”
Patients can also enjoy iPads during their visits, as well as beverages and light snacks.
