Wiscasset School Department has no school on Wednesday, Feb. 24, Superintendent of Schools Heather Wilmot announced. An email notification states the closure is due to “the variable and inclement weather conditions.”

Lincoln and Sagadahoc counties were part of the National Weather Service’s winter weather advisory in effect until 10 a.m. Wednesday, according to the NWS’ website at www.weather.gov. A wintry mix of precipitation was expected through tonight, the advisory states.
