Ocean on Tap is an informal, ocean-centric speaker series organized by researchers from Bigelow Laboratory and hosted by Footbridge Brewery in Boothbay Harbor. Dr. Isaac Miller of Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences will be speaking about what microbes eat in the sea and the cutting edge experimental methods he uses to study this from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 13.

Our shared goal is to bring people of the community together over the fascinating world of the ocean. At these events, speakers will share their expertise in their small corner of the ocean. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions.
