PAC completes report, plans to present it Sept. 4
The Public Advisory Committee for the Maine Department of Transportation’s downtown project has finished its final report to selectmen, and adjourned the final time.
Chair Bill Maloney presented stylized drawings project manager Ernie Martin gave him of what the project may look like, for the members as a thank you for all their work.
The PAC will present its report to selectmen Sept. 4. Barring any further questions or issues put to them by the selectmen, the PAC has completed its mandate.
Another committee may arise to address issues that face the downtown community during and after construction. Both the Lincoln County Regional Planning Commission and the Wiscasset Area Chamber of Commerce have offered to help if that committee is named.
