Papers available for Wiscasset selectman’s seat
Prospective candidates for an open seat on the Wiscasset Board of Selectmen have until Sept. 21 to turn in nomination papers. Papers became available Monday, Aug. 10, Town Clerk Linda Perry said.
The election is Nov. 3. Selectman Bill Barnes’ resignation Aug. 3 due to work commitments has left the board at four members. The board set the November election date at its Aug. 4 meeting.
