Patricia A. Sibley, 82, of Hibbing, Minnesota passed away Sept. 28, 2020 at Fairview Range Medical Center in Hibbing, Minnesota.

She was born Dec. 30, 1937 to Edward and Lydia (Doane) Beane in Kingman, Maine.

She is survived by her daughters, Sherry Sibley and Lori Sibley of Hibbing, Minnesota; sons, Jay (Sherba) Sibley of Edgecomb and David Sibley of Dresden; numerous adopted children who called her “Mom”; brother, Joseph (Barbara) Thibodeau of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandchildren, T.J. (Kristin) Renskers of Hibbing, Minnesota, Joshua (Bernie) Renskers of Hibbing, Minnesota, Sibley (Michael) Hanegmon of Hibbing, Minnesota, Shaylee Sibley of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Katie Sibley of Dresden, David Alan (Jessica) Sibley of Altoona, Wisconsin, Earl Brewer of Boothbay Harbor, Sarah (Mark) Barter of Boothbay, Adam (Allison) Brewer of Newcastle, Joseph Sibley of New York City, Kristin (Nick) Page of Boothbay, and Andrew Clark of Buxton; honorary grandson, Christian Renskers of Hibbing, Minnesota; son-in-law, Scott Brewer of Boothbay; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.  

Pat was predeceased by her parents, Edward Beane and Joseph and Lydia Thibodeau, daughter, Linda Sibley Clark, brothers, Donald Brown and Paul Thibodeau.

Pat loved a party; might piss you off on purpose; only ate dessert, lobster, beans, but mostly crackers with peanut butter; was committed to her opinion and shared it often; and loved us so hard. This tiny woman made sure to take up a big space in the world and our hearts. Goodbye Patster; we love you and had a great time.
