Peter S. Hall
Peter Smith Hall, 74, passed away at Maine Medical Center in Portland on May 26, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was born Oct. 7, 1947 in Boston, MA to Thomas Hall and Barbara (Emery) Hall. Peter grew up in Boothbay and graduated from Boothbay Region High School in the class of 1966. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.
Peter worked as a pottery designer for POD of Edgecomb for many years. He also worked at The Freezer, and Seaway Boats. He enjoyed fishing, camping, bird hunting and watching golf. He had nick names for everyone in his family and close friends. He was a crossword puzzle wizard. He will be deeply missed by his loving family.
He was predeceased by his parents, twin brother, Harry E. Hall and by a brother, Thomas Hall.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Hilda Reed Hall of Boothbay; sons Joe Hall of Boothbay and Harry Hall of Boothbay; daughter Amy Reny of Boothbay; grandsons Stephen Reny of Boothbay and Aaron Hall of Randolph; granddaughter Alexandria Hall of Woolwich; and his loving dog, Suzie.
