Planning Board approves cottages, garage at Chewonki Campground

The Wiscasset Planning Board on Monday approved plans for three new cottages and a replacement garage at Chewonki Campground.
Owners Pamela Brackett and Ann Beck said their plans were approved by the Federal Aviation Administration, and that they had paid their fee to the town. They said they planned to begin construction in spring, and hoped to have the cottages operational by the summer season.
The board voted the application complete and approved the site plan unanimously.
