American Legion Post 54, 523 Bath Road, Wiscasset invites all veterans and their families to a free barbecue from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 11, the 20th anniversary of 9/11. Post historian Wally Pitcher said there will be hamburgs, hot dogs, macaroni salad, chips and beverages.
