Dear Editor:

This is to express my sincere gratitude to the Wiscasset Board of Selectmen for asking very pertinent questions and scheduling a workshop to get answers at their Aug. 3 meeting.

By having both new members on the Select Board, and by having some of those members unfamiliar with the history of Wiscasset, those of us who are also not longtime members of the community will now be able to get further information regarding issues before our adopted community.
