On Saturday, December 7 at 1:00 pm, Harbor Theater presents perennial holiday favorite The Polar Express (2004) with FREE ADMISSION and free popcorn for the entire community. As Tom Hanks says, “It doesn’t matter where they (trains) are going, what matters is deciding to get on.”  In the hope of meeting Santa Claus, a young child decides to board a train that takes a trip to the North Pole every Christmas and begins an exciting holiday adventure.

For families with kids, a morning ride on the North Pole Express at the Boothbay Railway Village, followed by a free movie and free popcorn at the Harbor Theater on the way to see Santa in the afternoon arriving by boat in the Harbor makes for perfect, exciting holiday fun!
