Ralph L. Tirrell passed away peacefully at St. Andrews Village in Boothbay Harbor on July 12, 2020. 

Ralph was born Nov. 14, 1925  in South Weymouth, Massachusetts. 

He grew up in a small suburb of Braintree, Massachusetts. 

He served in the Navy as an airman during World War II.

After the war, he graduated from Boston University and joined a large insurance company, rising to vice president before retiring and moving to Boothbay Harbor. While working as an insurance executive he married the love of his life Gloria Briggs. They had two children, Steven and Leslyn.

Ralph was predeceased by his four siblings, his wife Gloria and his daughter Leslyn. 

He is survived by his son Steven living in Florida and three grandsons, Preston, Parker and Palmer.

Per Ralph’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.
