“Alice Through the Looking Glass” ” After slipping through a mirror, Alice (Mia Wasikowska) finds herself back in Underland with the White Queen (Anne Hathaway), the Cheshire Cat, the White Rabbit, Tweedledee and Tweedledum.
Her friends tell her that the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp) is depressed over the death of his family. Hoping to save his loved ones, Alice steals the Chronosphere from Time (Sacha Baron Cohen) to travel into the past. While there, she encounters the younger Hatter and the evil Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter).

"The Meddler" is a comedy/drama staring Susan Sarandon. Marnie has a new iPhone, an apartment near The Grove, and a comfortable bank account left to her by her beloved late husband. She has also happily relocated from New Jersey to Los Angeles to be near her daughter Lori, a successful (but still single) screenwriter, to smother her with motherly love.
But when the dozens of texts, unexpected visits, and conversations dominated by unsolicited advice force Lori to draw strict personal boundaries, Marnie finds ways to channel her eternal optimism and forceful generosity to change the lives of others - as well as her own - and find a new purpose in life. Baffled by local customs and stymied by an opaque bureaucracy, he eventually finds his footing with the help of a wise-cracking taxi driver (Alexander Black) and a beautiful Saudi doctor (Sarita Choudhury). “Miles Ahead” Don Cheadle’s directorial debut. This film tells the story of a few lost days in the life of Miles Davis (Don Cheadle), as he bursts out of his silent period, conspires with a Rolling Stone writer to steal back his music, and relives the years he had with his great love, Frances Taylor.

Damariscotta Annual Town Meeting The annual town meeting will take place at the theater on Wednesday, June 15 at 6:30 p.m.
“Just Eat It: A Food Waste Story” A 2014 documentary will be screened about food waste, followed by discussion of existing resources and efforts in Lincoln County to reduce food waste and food insecurity. Presented by the Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program, this is a free event. Playing Thursday, June 16 at 6 p.m.
