Remember Early Bird in Damariscotta this weekend
Don’t forget to shop the early bird sale in Damariscotta this weekend.
Some of the earliest deals will be when Damariscotta Hardware opens at 5:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7. King Eider’s Pub also opens at 5:30 a.m. and will be serving coffee and breakfast treats.
The Animal House opens at 6 a.m. with 30 percent discounts for everything (except food, which is 10 percent off). The discount will drop to 25 percent at 7 a.m., then 20 percent at 8 a.m. There will also be a deep discount table and a special guest from Lincoln County Animal Shelter with baked goodies.
Don’t forget to sign up for the two door prizes, free food for a year and “Bone Man,” which is a scarecrow-like fellow built using $200 worth of Merrick dog bones.
The Damariscotta River Grill will be offering a 25 percent discount on gift certificates from 6 to 7 a.m. (only cash and checks will be accepted) and 20 percent off from 7 to 9 a.m.
Lots of other stores are participating as well, including Seawick’s Candle Company, HarborTech Solutions/RadioShack, Weatherbird, About Face and OnBoard Fabrics just to name a few.
