Remembrance Gathering scheduled on Aug. 27 at Pemaquid Lighthouse
Miles & St. Andrews Home Health & Hospice will host their annual Remembrance Gathering on Aug. 27 at 9 a.m. at Pemaquid Lighthouse in Bristol.
During the service, participants will be invited to reflect on the many ways those who have died have touched their lives.
This interfaith event will be led by Miles & St. Andrews Home Health & Hospice Chaplain Ken Dale and will include a reading of names, special music and inspirational messages from a variety of spiritual traditions.
“All of our hospice staff and volunteers understand the need for grief support and how important it is for people to work through their grief,” said Miles & St Andrews Home Health & Hospice Executive Director Kathy Bean, RN. “Those who have attended our annual Remembrance Gatherings in the past have found them to be especially meaningful and healing.”
LincolnHealth’s Miles & St. Andrews Home Health & Hospice offers a broad range of services to enhance the quality of life at the end of life, including community-based palliative and hospice care to over 200 patients each year.
