On March 16, 2018, Mr. Ronald A. Pratt Sr., a lifelong resident of Cumberland, Rhode Island, died in Portland, Maine.
A loving husband to Janet L. (Simoneau) Pratt, a father and grandfather, he was the former owner and president of Ronald Pratt Company of Cumberland, Rhode Island.
A jewelry manufacturer for over 50 years, he was also a former member of the Manufacturer, Jewelers and Silversmiths of America, The Providence Jeweler’s Club, and the 24 Karat Club. He proudly served as a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served abroad in Korea.
He and his wife Janet, frequently spent free time in the Boothbay Harbor area. He was a close community member and friend to all who knew him. He will be sorely missed.
He leaves his wife Janet also of Cumberland Rhode Island, and children, Robert Pratt of Lyman, New Hampshire, Robin Crow of Salinas, Kansas, Ronald A Pratt Jr. of Portsmouth, Rhode Island, Renee Pratt of Danielson, Connecticut, and Rhonda Harmon of Woonsocket, Rhode Island.
