Saltwater Artist’s Gallery, a 501 c 3 art gallery, is excited to announce a call for artists for its upcoming showing season May 23 through Oct. 17. SWAG showcases original works of art by local Maine Artists using all mediums from fused glass, oil, acrylic, pastel, jewelry, fiber arts, encaustics, mosaics, photography, pottery, watercolor, woodturning, stained glass, and sculpture. Artists from all disciplines are invited to submit images of their work for consideration.

Eligibility: This call is open to artists of all backgrounds who reside in Maine or have a significant connection to the Midcoast, especially the Pemaquid peninsula area. Juried artists will be required to pay an annual membership fee as well as hanging fee and must be willing to participate in gallery operations.

Submissions must include high-resolution images, descriptions of work, artist bio and artist statement, website and social media links. All information can be submitted electronically to the email address below. We may wish at some point in the selection process to see some of your actual works in person.

Selected artists will be notified by March 29.  Works are to be hung between May 4 and May 18 in preparation for the gallery opening May 23.
