Sarah started cooking at the age of 15 at the Osprey in its first year of operation at Robinhood Marina in her hometown of Georgetown. The journey from that spot to the current location 43 years later included raising two sons, running a catering business, delivery pizza business, sit-down dining Boothbay Harbor dockside, mentoring countless co-workers and creating a legacy of Sarah's Cafe as an extended family. Many regular customers have counted on Sarah's special warmth for many years.
As Sarah Heald prepares for a well-deserved retirement, Sarah's Cafe invites customers to redeem their gift cards during the month of June. This provides a final opportunity to savor the delightful flavors created by Sarah Heald and experience the warm ambiance she has cultivated.

Sarah's is closed on Tuesdays, open daily from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. Sundays until 5 p.m. This Saturday, June 10, Sarah's will be closing at 3 for school events.
