Savory Maine's September music series featuring local musicians will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Musicians from around the midcoast will entertain and charm diners at Savory Maine is located at 11 Water Street in Damariscotta. Come for a bowl of chowder, a burger, a beer, a cup of tea, dessert or a full meal.

The lineup: singer/songwriter Kathi Nordone September 2; Solomon Montrond September 4; Sylvia Tavares September 10; Rusty Hinges September 12; Hurry Down Sunshine duo September 17; Heather Hardy and Nancy Sferra September 19; Sylvia Tavares and Kathi Nordone September 24; and Giff Jamison on September 26.

In October the music series will continue with live, local, fresh music on Thursday and Saturday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m.

Savory Maine is open for lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays for brunch and dinner. The restaurant sources most of its food from Maine and essentially all of it is organically grown or wild harvested.
