The Wiscasset School Committee will get some guidance February 6 on its search for a permanent superintendent.

The Maine School Management Association is set to give the panel a workshop on conducting a superintendent search, during the committee's meeting that starts at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Wiscasset High School library.

On January 30, the committee named Wayne Dorr as interim superintendent.
