Sewer project on tap for Wiscasset selectmen Tuesday
Wiscasset selectmen on Tuesday are scheduled to open bids on a sewer project. Plans include upgrading some pump stations and either replacing or repairing a line that runs from about Federal Street toward the shore to the wastewater treatment plant, the plant’s superintendent William Rines said Monday.
The bid opening is part of selectmen’s regular meeting on Dec. 16. The meeting at the municipal building starts at 7 p.m.
Also on the agenda are an abatement for Maine Fiber Company and the appointment of the town’s new planner, Jamel Torres, to a seat on the Lincoln County Regional Planning Commission’s board of directors.
The board is scheduled to look at authorizing Town Manager Marian Anderson to sign the updated master plan for Wiscasset Municipal Airport.
