Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:

Arrests

On May 23, Jesse Morkeski, 21, of Damariscotta was arrested for Operating under the Influence, on Route 1, Newcastle, by Deputy Kevin Dennison.

On May 24, Chelsea L. Mansfield, 24, of Boothbay was arrested for Violating Condition of Release, on Bath Road, Wiscasset, by Det. Sgt. Ronald Rollins.

Traffic Citations

On May 13, Brian Thompson, 41, of South Bristol, failure to show proof of insurance, Route 1, Newcastle, Dep. Kenneth Hatch.

On May 22, Zachary Brewer, 20, of Boothbay, Speeding 66 mph in a posted 45 mph speed zone, River Road, Boothbay, Sgt. Jason Nein.

On May 25, Duane Greaton, 44, of New Gloucester, Operating after suspension, Route 1, Wiscasset, Sgt. Daniel Sceviour.

Traffic Accidents

On May 21, an accident occurred on Gardiner Road in Dresden involving Evan C. Goodkowsky, 22, of Wiscasset.  Goodkowsky was operating his 2004 Suzuki Aerio southbound when he lost control and drove off the road, hitting a tree and causing significant damage. Deputy Todd Chilton was the investigating officer.

On May 25, an accident occurred on Boothbay Road in Edgecomb involving Matthew A. Novicki, 40, of Westbrook.  Novicki was operating his 2003 Mercedes-Benz southbound in the area of the McKay Road when a deer ran into the roadway and struck the driver’s side of his vehicle. Deputy Brian Collamore was the investigating officer.

On May 25, an accident occurred on Country Club Road involving Jennifer L. Whitney, 37, of Boothbay and Neil K. Hodgdon, 66, of Boothbay. Whitney was operating her 2012 Dodge southbound behind Hodgdon’s 1988 Chevrolet 1500. Hodgdon slowed to make a right turn into a private driveway. Whitney failed to see Hodgdon slowing and struck his vehicle in the rear. Sgt. Jason Nein was the investigating officer.
