The Skidompha Strummers, ukulele ensemble of Skidompha Public Library, will play and sing a collection of familiar holiday songs in the library’s atrium on Thursday, Dec. 19 at 4 p.m.
Everyone is invited to attend, and admission is free.
The Strummers meet every Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m. in the library’s Porter Meeting Room. Membership is open to anyone with a ukulele who knows a few basic chords and strumming patterns. Practices are open to the public, so prospective members may visit at any time, and people in the library are welcome to stop in and listen.
The library has ukuleles to lend to any patron with a Skidompha library card.
