A group of area active and retired firefighters and emergency medical services (EMS) workers on May 19 put on a spaghetti supper at Wiscasset's fire station.
Red Knights Midcoast Maine Chapter 4 is about a year old, charter member Mike Marino of Bath said. It is a motorcycle club and helps others in their field if someone is in need, Marino and President Jason Miller, also of Bath, said. The Wiscasset event raised $208 for the nonprofit after expenses, Marino said.
The meal was delicious, according to one smiling party of four Wiscasset residents: Joan Sutter, Judy Wilbur and Sally Wentworth, all sisters, and Wentworth’s husband Ron Wentworth.
