From 6 to 7:30 p.m.Wednesday, May 8 at Wiscasset Community Center, families will have what Parks and Recreation is dubbing “an evening of royal delights,” a Mother’s Day tea party. Expect hot and cold drinks, finger foods and even some magic.

Parks and Recreation Director Lisa Thompson said she has lined up magician Phil Smith. Thompson was pleased with early signups. As of Friday, April 26, she had about 20 registrations. The event can have up to 75. For the costs or other questions, call 882-8230.
