St. Giles' Episcopal Church in Jefferson is hosting a free supper for Midcoast residents Saturday, January 10 at 5 p.m. — the second in a wintertime series.

The parish is welcoming all in the community. The suppers have been scheduled one Saturday per month December through March. The January menu will feature ham with scalloped potatoes, plus side dishes, dessert, and a beverage. The dates for the following suppers are Feb. 14 and March 14, also starting at 5 p.m.

All are invited for simple, nourishing fare, served in the parish hall. No reservations are needed. If the thought of venturing out for a hot meal appeals to you and your family, consider yourselves invited and let others in the community know of these suppers.

St. Giles is located on Route 126, the Gardiner Road, one-quarter mile west of the intersection of 126 and Route 213, the Bunker Hill Road.
