Successful fundraiser hosted by Action for Animals Maine

Saturday, May 30 was a beautiful day to participate in a bottle drive and pick up a lunch-to-go at the Farm 23 bakery, and many Boothbay area residents stopped by.
Action for Animals Maine hosted the fundraiser, offering grilled hot dog and hamburger lunches, sold curbside, accompanied by special dog-paw cookies and baked dog treats from Farm 23.
Between the bottle drive and the lunches, Action for Animals Maine volunteers raised over $800 to help this nonprofit organization fund urgent veterinary treatment, assisting Lincoln County pet owners would otherwise not be able to afford to pay for care for their beloved animals.
