Supporting Pentaleri in Alna
Dear Editor:
We are delighted to support Ed Pentaleri who is running for Selectboard in Alna in March. Ed has previously served as an Alna Selectboard member and has accomplished many great things that have benefited our town.
Ed oversaw the Cross Road repaving that had been deferred far longer than necessary. He also has helped reduceour costs of winter salt by working with the state. Ed has also been instrumental for securing grants totaling $1.6 million for the replacement of the Egypt Road Bridge; hopefully to include the transfer of its maintenance responsibility to the state.
Ed’s efforts will also save the town $4,000 yearly in electricity costs by helping to secure solar panels on the Alna Fire Station. Additionally, he worked to install a heat pump in the Town Office meeting room, saving both money and energy.
Ed is a guy who is always looking for opportunities to improve our town, especially when it can save the town money. He is always willing to volunteer when something needs to be done and to lend a hand to a neighbor in need.
We urge you to join us in voting for Ed Pentaleri for the Selectboard at the Alna election on March 28.
