“Dunkirk” - Held over one more week! - In May 1940, Germany advanced into France, trapping Allied troops on the beaches of Dunkirk. Under air and ground cover from British and French forces, troops were slowly and methodically evacuated from the beach using every serviceable naval and civilian vessel that could be found. At the end of this heroic mission, 330,000 French,British, Belgian and Dutch soldiers were safely evacuated.
Written, co-produced and directed by Christopher Nolan ("The Dark Knight", "Inception"), "Dunkirk" features an ensemble cast including Fionn Whitehead, Tom Glynn-Carney, Jack Lowden, Harry Styles, Aneurin Barnard, James D'Arcy, Barry Keoghan, Kenneth Branagh, Cillian Murphy, Mark Rylance and Tom Hardy.
Reviewing for The San Francisco Chronicle Mike LaSalle describes "Dunkirk" as " … one of the best war films ever made, distinct in its look, in its approach and in the effect it has on viewers."
Rated PG, this film plays at 7 p.m through Thursday, Aug. 24 and at 2 and 7 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 20.

“Julius Caesar” - The Royal Shakespeare Company – Caesar returns from war, all-conquering, but mutiny is rumbling through the corridors of power. Following his sell-out productions of Tom Morton-Smith’s Oppenheimer (2014) and James Fenton’s adaptation of Don Quixote (2016), Season Director Angus Jackson steers the thrilling action as the race to claim the empire spirals out of control. “Dunkirk” - Acclaimed auteur Christopher Nolan directs this World War II thriller about the evacuation of Allied troops from the French city of Dunkirk before Nazi forces can take hold. Tom Hardy, Kenneth Branagh and Mark Rylance co-star, with longtime Nolan collaborator Hans Zimmer providing the score. Rated PG-13, run time: 1 hour 46 minutes. Playing at 2 and 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, Saturday, Aug. 19, Sunday, Aug. 20; and at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23.
Y-ARTS Theater Music Camp Final Show - “Honk! Jr. - Campers in grades 1-9 immerse themselves in the art of musical theatre during this two-week day camp, which focuses is on all areas of the dramatic arts and culminates on a junior Broadway musical. The show is picked based on the campers in each particular session. This time, it’s Honk, Jr! Come and support the stars of the future. Tickets $5 at the door. Wednesday, Aug. 23 at 1 and 5 p.m.
