Trees for Haiti!
The political and humanitarian crises in Haiti have made life there harder than ever. People struggle to find food, water and gas, and many times are confined to their homes out of insecurity. You may be able to help!
Hope Haitian Ministries, a nonprofit based in Boothbay, has been working to support those Haitians who are struggling, by providing funds for food, jobs and education. This year, as in years past, Christmas trees will be available, for a suggested donation of at least $30, at 18 Country Club Lane in Boothbay – on the way to the dump.
Look for the “Trees For Haiti” sign and pick out your tree. Any checks can be made out to Hope Haitian Ministries. The trees arrive Monday, Nov. 22.
