Clamshell Quilters, in conjunction with Area 2 of Pine Tree Quilters Guild, will be hosting a trunk show by Beth Helfter of EvaPaige Quilt Designs on Friday, Sept. 14 at 5:30 p.m. at the Alna Fire Department, 1579 Alna Road, Alna.

The trunk show, “Give it a Scrap Slap,” is based on Beth’s experiences during a yearlong stint at Quiltmaker magazine redesigning a quilt in each issue using only scraps. This led her to create more of her own designs using existing quilts as inspiration. We will get to see the quilts and hear about Beth’s insights on the design process.

The cost of the trunk show is $10 at the door. There will be light refreshments and door prizes. Beth will have some of her merchandise available for purchase.
