Visiting minister at Edgecomb Community Church
The Edgecomb Community Church will be hosting the Reverend Lawrence Krewson for two Sundays this summer, July 31 and Aug. 7. Arriving here from Georgia, he will be visiting friends in Edgecomb.
Rev. Krewson is a graduate of Florida Southern College with a BS in social science. He served in the U.S. Army at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina as a training officer from 1973 to 1976. He later graduated from Candler School of Theology (Emory University) with a Master of Divinity in 1979.
An ordained United Methodist Minister, he served churches in the Florida Conference through December 2002, and then served as a Chaplain for Hope Hospice of Southwest Florida January 2003 - October 2020. During this period, he also assisted in a Congregational Church in Bonita Springs, Florida.
Now retired, Larry lives in Hiawassee, Georgia where he spends his time golfing, biking, woodworking, and cross stitching. He is a member of the Georgia Mountain Artists Guild and participates in shows.
He is looking forward to getting involved in a local Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.
Edgecomb Community Church, UCC services begin at 9:30 a.m. and coffee hour is served after the service. All are welcome. It is an Open and Affirming congregation.
