If you have been raving about Wiscasset’s best pancakes, omelettes, donuts, breakfast sandwiches or coffee, this is your chance to nominate each one to receive a Best Breakfast Food contest award.

Nominations will be open from September 1 to September 14. Voting begins September 15 and ends September 30. Voters will automatically be entered in a drawing for a share of $450 in prizes.

The contest sponsors, Big Al’s and Ames True Value Hardware, will provide gift certificates, with a combined value of $225, to  voters selected in a drawing. First prize wins $100; second prize wins $75 and third prize wins $50.

The restaurant winners will be presented with a framed certificate and be recognized in the Wiscasset Newspaper print paper and online.
