Wayne A. Robinson, 83, formerly of Edgecomb, Maine, recently of Calera, Alabama, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on the evening of Nov. 14, 2021 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center.

Born in Southwest Harbor, Maine on Aug. 17, 1938, he was the son of Curtis and Rachel Robinson.

Wayne graduated from Boothbay Region High School and then went on to Southern Maine Vocational Technical Institute.

He worked many years for Central Maine Power Company before retiring and moving to Sarasota, Florida with his wife of 60 years Ruth Robinson. He worked for a few more years with Terminix Pest Control before moving to Calera, AL where he drove a school bus until he retired again for good.

Wayne was predeceased by his parents. He was survived by his children, son Alan Williams and wife Laurie of Boothbay,, Maine; daughter Linda McFarland and her husband Miles McFarland of Bremen, Maine; and daughter Lainie Miller and husband Ed of Calera, AL.;  eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
