This week at Harbor Theater
“Killers of the Flower Moon” - (R; 3 hours, 26 minutes) - At the turn of the 20th century, oil brought a fortune to the Osage Nation, who became some of the richest people in the world overnight. The wealth of these Native Americans immediately attracted white interlopers, who manipulated, extorted, and stole as much Osage money as they could before resorting to murder. Based on a true story and told through the improbable romance of Ernest Burkhart (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Mollie Kyle (Lily Gladstone), “Killers of the Flower Moon” is an epic western crime saga, where real love crosses paths with unspeakable betrayal. Also starring Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, Tantoo Cardinal, Cara Jade Myers, JaNae Collins, and Jillian Dion. Directed by Academy Award winner Martin Scorsese from a screenplay by Eric Roth and Martin Scorsese, based on David Grann’s best-selling book.
During its two-week run at Harbor Theater, there will be two showings daily. Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2 and 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 26, 2 and 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 27, 2 and 7 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 28, 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 29, 2 and 7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2 and 7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 2, 2 and 7 p.m.

“Despite the showy casting of the leading men, it becomes obvious very quickly that the real meat in ‘Killers of The Flower Moon’ is the women’s stories.” – Hamish Macbain, London Evening Standard
“A soulful and unsettling movie that is self-aware about how storytellers twist and manipulate truth.” – Radheyan Simonpillai, Globe and Mail
“Beetlejuice” - (1988 - PG; 1 hour, 32 minutes) - Free screening with free popcorn! Bring the family to Harbor Theater and enjoy the classic 1988 film, Beetlejuice! After Barbara (Geena Davis) and Adam Maitland (Alec Baldwin) die in a car accident, they find themselves stuck haunting their country residence, unable to leave the house. When the unbearable Deetzes (Catherine O’Hara, Jeffrey Jones) and teen daughter Lydia (Winona Ryder) buy the home, the Maitlands attempt to scare them away without success. Their efforts attract Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton), a rambunctious spirit whose “help” quickly becomes dangerous for the Maitlands and innocent Lydia. Not really scary at all, but full of silliness and “camp” horror motifs. If you missed this one in the 80s, don’t miss it now! One show only at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28.
“Amazingly, it all still feels fresh, even though Burton has since become something of his own franchise since.” – Ian Freer, Empire Magazine
