“Joker: Folie À Deux” - (R; 2 hours, 18 minutes) – This is the much-anticipated sequel to the 2019 Oscar-winning “Joker.” Joaquin Phoenix reprises his role as Arthur Fleck, struggling with his identity while institutionalized at Arkham Asylum. Joining him is Lady Gaga, playing a love interest in this psychological and musical journey. With a stellar cast including Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, and Zazie Beetz, the film combines drama, music, and suspense. Behind the scenes, Phillips reunites with his award-winning Joker team, delivering another gripping chapter in the Joker’s story. Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 2 p.m. (OCAP) and Thursday, Oct. 24, 7 p.m.
“The Wild Robot” - (PG; 1 hour, 42 minutes) - Opening night Family Film Deal: Get two FREE admissions (1 adult ticket and 1 child's ticket) and one FREE large popcorn for each family. This is the animated adaptation of the award winning, much-loved children’s novel by Maine resident Peter Brown. The film follows the epic adventure of a shipwrecked robot, Rozzum, aka Roz (voiced by Lupita Nyong’o), who powers up on an island ready to do her new owners’ tasks. She learns to communicate with the animals on the island and adopts a baby gosling she names Brightbill (Kit Connor) after accidentally destroying his mother’s nest. With the help of a scrappy fox, Fink (Pedro Pascal), Roz makes caring for Brightbill her primary purpose. But being a mother is much more difficult than anything Roz’s programming has prepared her for. Plays at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25; Saturday, Oct. 26; Thursday, Oct. 31; and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27 and Wednesday, Oct. 17 (OCAP).

“Monster House” - (2006; PG; 1 hour, 31 minutes) - One show only! This free family film is generously sponsored by the towns of Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor and Southport. When monsters lurk beneath the bed, it’s scary - but what if the entire house is the monster? In this thrilling adventure, three teens (Mitchel Musso, Spencer Locke, and Sam Lerner) discover that a creepy, dilapidated house next door has a mind and sinister motives of its own. With Halloween approaching, the trio must uncover the house’s terrifying secrets and stop it before innocent trick-or-treaters fall victim to its malevolent plans. Will they be able to destroy the eerie structure in time, or will the neighborhood face a ghastly fate? Screens Saturday, Oct. 26, 2 p.m.
Harbor Theater is open for 2 p.m. matinees on Wednesday (Open Caption Screening) and Sunday.
