Conjured up by some unsuspecting pranksters, a tricky trio of 300-year-old witches (Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy) set out to cast a spell on the town and reclaim their youth. But first, they must get their act together and outwit three kids and a talking cat. Join us for this classic film, fun for audiences of all ages! Pumpkinfest Regatta 2024 - Free live stream - Enjoy the Regatta in the comfort of the Lincoln Theater, streaming live by Lincoln County Television. If you’ve never seen the Damariscotta Pumpkinfest Regatta, you are in for a treat! Pumpkinboats (400-700 pound, hollowed out pumpkins) are paddled or motor powered in this famous regatta on the Damariscotta River, and rather than fighting the crowds, you can watch it all live on the big screen! This is a free event, open to the public. No tickets or reservations are required. Monday, Oct. 14 at 9 a.m.
"Minions: The Rise of Gru" - (2022; PG; 1 hour, 27 minutes) - Free - Come celebrate Pumpkinfest with the entire family at Lincoln Theater! In the heart of the 1970s, amid a flurry of feathered hair and flared jeans, Gru is growing up in the suburbs. A fanboy of a supervillain supergroup known as the Vicious 6, Gru hatches a plan to become evil enough to join them. Luckily, he gets some mayhem-making backup from his loyal followers, the Minions. Together, Kevin, Stuart, Bob, and Otto–a new Minion sporting braces and a desperate need to please–deploy their skills as they and Gru build their first lair, experiment with their first weapons and pull off their first missions. one show on Monday, Oct. 14 at 1 p.m.
"Beetlejuice" - (1988; PG; 1 hour, 32 minutes) - Don’t miss your chance to see “the ghost with the most” on the big screen before we open the new “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” Oct 18! After Barbara (Geena Davis) and Adam Maitland (Alec Baldwin) die in a car accident, they find themselves stuck haunting their country residence, unable to leave the house. When the unbearable Deetzes (Catherine O’Hara, Jeffrey Jones) and teen daughter Lydia (Winona Ryder) buy the home, the Maitlands attempt to scare them away without success. Their efforts attract Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton), a rambunctious spirit whose “help” quickly becomes dangerous for the Maitlands and innocent Lydia. “Let’s turn on the juice and see what shakes loose.” Playing at 2 and 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16 and Thursday, Oct. 17.
