On Saturday, Sept. 23 at 10 a.m., the Westport Island Community Association will host a driving tour of several cemeteries on the island. Working in conjunction with the History and Cemetery committees, eight sites have been chosen, out of the approximately 70 cemeteries on Westport Island, for their historical significance and easy access. The event will be guided and is anticipated to run approximating 2 1/2 hours with refreshments offered at the conclusion of the tour. The tour and refreshments are free. All are welcome.
