The Wiscasset Fire Department's open house at the station at the corner of Routes 1 and 27 is this Wednesday, Oct. 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. The event includes food and goody bags for the kids. "Also the kids will be able to climb the ladder truck this year," Assistant Chief Nick Merry added.
