Wiscasset Halloween tradition draws hundreds to Federal Street
At Wiscasset’s Nightmare on Federal Street event Tuesday, Oct. 31, whole families were in costume, 40 Federal Studio gave out over 400 slices of pizza, and other tables were manned by groups including First Congregational Church, offering lots of cider, Wiscasset Area Chamber of Commerce, with lots of sweets, Jodie's Restaurant, with cookies and cupcakes, and The First National Bank, also with lots of sweets.
Norm's Used Cars set up a tent and was tossing out candy. And pirates took over the front lawn of the Octagon House. Wiscasset Parks and Recreation provided the tables and music for the local Halloween tradition.
