This Wiscasset Newspaper paperboy scarecrow smiling at motorists from the Ames True Value Supply lawn is part of the Wiscasset Area Chamber of Commerce’s first-ever scarecrow contest for businesses and organizations. Scarecrows will remain on display downtown and along Route One through Oct. 29. Winners will be announced Oct. 23.
