Dear Editor:

Does your vote make a difference? In Wiscasset it sure does. Less than 15% of the Wiscasset registered voters voted on the June Ballot; 85% of the registered voters relinquished their vote to those who did vote. It could be said that if you voted, your vote represented that of six registered voters. Why let others make decisions for you?

No matter how insignificant you may consider some of these ballot questions to be, they all have consequences. Exercise your right to vote. Get out and vote on Nov. 2.
