Summerdaywas held at Castle Tucker in Wiscasset on June 15. The day celebrated historic Castle Tucker and the Tucker family that once resided there.

Helping with this celebration were Wiscasset Middle School’s seventh and eighth graders.  These students have participated in an educational program presented by Historic New England, the organization that manages Castle Tucker.  The seveth graders hosted a bake sale that offered a wide variety of delicious treats.  The eighth graders presented the final scene of a play entitled “The Two Puddifoots,” a play once performed by the Tucker children, who created their own theater company called “The Pickwick Amateur Theatrical Association.”   

The students did an outstanding job to the delight of their audience.
