Wood helps at WES post-principal

Wiscasset Superintendent of Schools Terry Wood said May 30, she expects to begin a search soon for Wiscasset Elementary School's next principal. In the meantime, she's there twice daily.
Stacy White resigned last month. "I have been covering at WES," Wood wrote in an email response to questions. "I start my day there at around 7:30 to meet the buses and then head over there late afternoon at the end of their day and head back to Central Office to finish my day."
If she's not in town, another administrator will cover WES, Wood continued. "It is going well so far and we will begin our search for a new principal in the near future."
The last student day for WES is June 19, Wood said.
