Y-Arts $10,000 lottery underway
Only 350 Y-Arts $10,000 lottery tickets are now being sold for $100 each. Purchase your own for $100 or go in on a ticket or two with friends, co-workers, family or neighbors and split the $10,000 if you win!
This year, the winning ticket will be drawn on Wednesday, December 4 at the Y-Arts Christmas Concert. “We are optimistic that all 350 tickets will sell by the drawing date,” Emily Moore said. “In selling 350 tickets, $10,000 will go to the lucky winner/winners and $20,000 will go towards a supporting Y youth and their trip to Atlanta for the 2014 Junior Theatre Festival where they will compete with other arts programs throughout the country, offsetting the cost of 'Everyone Sings for FREE' YMCA programs and new sound equipment for the Y’s 'Y-Arts For All' program, benefiting individuals with mental and intellectual disabilities.”
The Y-Arts $10,000 lottery tickets can be purchased through Y-Arts youth and at the YMCA front desk. Tickets are $100 each and there is no limit on the number of individuals who can buy into one ticket. Co-workers, friends, and family members may contribute towards one $100 ticket or they can purchase their own.
“The group of Y-Arts youth participating with the support of their families are working together to get all 350 tickets sold,” Moore said. “It’s a group effort on behalf of all of the kids and their families.”
