Boothbay Region YMCA’s Y-Arts performers will be competing in the iTheatrics Junior Theater Festival Atlanta Friday, Jan. 17 through Sunday, Jan. 19 at The Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta.
The festival will unite 129 student theater groups representing 31 U.S. states; Australia, New Zealand, and the U.K., as well as musical theatre luminaries.
The Junior Theater Festival is a monumental celebration of student-driven musical theatre. It’s a time when the best of Broadway and the people who are shaping the future of the arts come together in the spirit of fellowship.

At the festival the students will present selections from “Schoolhouse Rock Live! JR” for adjudication. They’ll take part in workshops and enjoy performances by Broadway stars and their Broadway peers.
