Years-long change ahead for George Wright Road, Woolwich motorists

The southern intersection of George Wright Road and Route 1, in Woolwich, will be closed to all traffic starting April 28 at 8 a.m. and will continue for the duration of the bridge project on Route 1. Access to Route 1 from George Wright Road may be gained from the northern intersection of George Wright Road and Route 1 and from the Nequasset Road intersection with Route 1.
