Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library (BHML) celebrates the work of the late Lee Winslow Court with a show on display throughout June in the upstairs community room during regular library hours.
The Monhegan Island artist was a graduate of Massachusetts College of Art and his oil paintings project a background and experience that dates from 1927, when his first solo exhibit was viewed by critics.
His work is in the permanent collections of the Farnsworth Museum, Rockland, Maine, Evansville College Museum, Indiana, Procter Academy, New Hampshire, Abbott Academy, Massachusetts, Sanford School, Delaware and numerous private collections.
