During a special service on Sunday, Sept. 16 at 4 p.m., animals of all kinds, shapes, and sizes are invited to join the First Congregational Church UCC of Wiscasset for a blessing. This 30-minute service of scripture, song and reflection on the front steps of the church will include a special moment of blessing for the critters among us which bless our lives in so many ways. Bring a chair, bring a friend, and most importantly, bring the animals in your life! Donations of cash and pet goods will be collected for the Lincoln County Animal Shelter.

In the event of rain, the service will be in Fellowship Hall.

The church is at 28 High St. All are welcome.
